Bridal cars are expensive. I wanted an SUV for my bridal car even if I have been getting a lot of comments that I might have a hard time going up the car in my gown. This supplier i found through the w@w yellow pages. At first I didn't want to inquire kasi range rover, baka expensive. But when Ate Cristina texted me back, within budget pala.

I met up with her at Boni High and when I saw the car, i knew i found my bridal car. It has hydraulics too! What made it really cool was that my driver for the day was Ate Cristina, the owner mismo. When I met up with her, it was her husband driving but I think the husband is not available on the day of the wedding kaya si Ate Cristina ang driver. They dont't let a driver drive their car. Weeks before the wedding, she'ld always text me to remind me to let her know on when namin gusto mag practice. yup, may ganun. from hotel to church to reception venue. For me, kahit wala na nun but they were insistent. It was really cool to have her around on the day of the wedding.. She kept me calm and super chika lang kami sa loob ng car.

When we got to blueleaf, her husband and kid were there waiting for her too (they live in alabang). After our introduction nung reception program, I was asked by my coord kung nasaan ang bouquet ko. Naku! i left it sa bridal SUV. We had to borrow the bouquet of my mom during the picture taking. Ate Cristina naman saw it when she got home and she rushed back to blueleaf. Super bait. She is one of the first suppliers to text me and congratulate us after the wedding.

If your like me who wants a different car for your wedding day, I highly recommend Elegance.

one month to go...baby steps to 010609

this is it!

when i started the wedding preps, i said i want to have finished everything by december but i must have been dreaming when i said that. im starting to feel panicky with all the things i have to do and finalize but im happy that everyday, i am able to accomplish something. the coming days are going to be very busy as i am to meet with people who would help us make our wedding beautiful. LD is arriving in 15 days and i am preparing his list of things to do ( teehee, joke lang. ). i remember us starting the countdown to 140++ days to his arrival and we are now down to the last 15 days.

i have in my past posts mentioned my dilemma as to my bridal car. i have toyed with the idea of just riding a cab or using my parent's adventure. i called a lot of bridal companies and car rental companies in my search for an affordable/reasonably priced bridal car. at one time, i almost fell out of my chair when one of the companies i called told me that to rent a toyota fortuner for 10 hours would cost me Php35,000. i told the lady i was not buying the fortuner, i only wanted to rent it for a day. i thought i was doomed to just taking a cab and i know LD has been nervous that i was really serious about it. yesterday though i found the solution to my problem. i found something i really wanted and it was reasonably priced too. i found my bridal car uhm, correction my bridal SUV. met up with the owner's at serendra yesterday, went for a joy ride, discussed some details and i closed the deal by paying for the downpayment. friends, meet our bridal SUV...

love it! i still have one surprise with the SUV but you'ld have to be at the church to know what it is. still so many things to do and as what the title of the post says, i am taking baby steps to jan 6. one day at a time and im pretty sure i would get to finish everything. it is the little details that is stressing me out but i only feel stressed for a minute or two and then i realize that what's important is that we get married and have our families, relatives and friends with us on that day.
