FoodieWednesday 01: Commitment

Wifespeaks: Foodie Wednesday

Hands down my favorite dish served during our reception. When I went for food tasting and had a taste of the dish, I immediately told our caterer I wanted it as part of the Menu.

Dish is Honey Nut Prawn. This was realllly good and until now (4 months after the wedding), I have been receiving good feedbacks from guests of how good this dish is and all the other food we had for our wedding. Credit goes to K by Cunanan catering.

I love kaye! Food is very important for us and after my food tasting with kaye, i knew i was going to get her already. I only had one other food tasting other than kaye and that is with cuillere. The food with cuillere is good too but since other than good food, kaye provides really nice set-up--we went with her. Deadma with the feedback that she does not call back nor text back. She had my 100% trust and she didn't disappoint us. When the wedding day draw nearer naman, sya na din tatawag sayo. teehee!

Everybody was raving about how good the food was and on how different it was with all the other weddings they have attended. That was exactly what I wanted and that's what we got.

We saved a good amount of money of not getting a mobile bar and just get bar service from kaye. I think we only spent about 5K for all the drinks (except the non-alcoholic bottles for toasting) and then another 1,200 for the bartender. I just had someone bring everything over to kaye's house in ayala heights and then i turned over a list to the coordinator assigned sa reception so she can check on the drinks. Whatever was left was turned over back to us then. A ninong of ours also gave me cigarettes over the Christmas season that I asked for the coordinators to put at the cocktail tables outside the pavilion.

Getting kaye to cater for our wedding was one of the best decisions we have made and I highly recommend her.
